The Evolution
Revolution Bike Park is a family run business. The main people involved in the business are:
James – The creative influence and biker in the project. When it comes to the design and construction of the tracks and park in general James takes the lead. With years of downhill experience and most of the biggest tracks in the UK and Europe bearing his tyre marks James has the ideas we need to make this park the best in the country. James also has a background in construction, landscaping and catering all of which combine to provide many of the skills we need to deliver this project.
Tim – The business mind in the family, tasked with taking James’ ideas and turning them into a business. Also a keen downhiller although a better candidate for guinea pigging the red runs than the big doubles on the jump runs. Tim has a background in project management and consultancy but is as at home digging a bike track as he is in a board meeting.
Susha (like Russia) – Susha is James’ fiancé. Hailing from Australia, a lover of the Great Outdoors and our lead in anything marketing and communications Susha is our key to spreading the Revolution Bike Park message.
Mum and Dad (Linda and Morris to others) – Although retired and not keen to join us digging in the woods our parents have been a constant source of support and advice for this project. They will be moving with us to Wales and you can expect to see some of Mum’s amazing cakes on sale in the shop.
The Dogs – Rusty, Mollie and Millie are our two Chocolate Labradors and Springer Spaniel (Millie). Whilst not technically employees of the business they are an important part of our family and will likely be regular features on site. Their main roles are chasing us as we ride the downhill tracks, getting in the way whilst we are building and trampling over freshly built jumps and tracks. Despite their “contributions” we wouldn’t be without them.
